City and Guilds 2079 - F Gas qualification - new dates added

Cool Concerns is now assessing candidates for the new City and Guilds 2079-11 and 2079-14 F Gas qualifications. The next available two day training / assessment sessions at our premises in the West Midlands are 15th & 16th September, 17th & 18th September, 23rd and 24th September, 30th September and 1st October, 15th and 16th October, 5th and 6th November, 19th and 20th November, 8th and 9th December. Cool Concerns Ltd moves into purpose built premises in the West Midlands

We moved into new, purpose built premises in the West Midlands at the end of 2007. The unit, on the edge of a small village just off junction 8 of the M5, has been equipped with a 110m2 workshop area, training room and office.

The workshop is already being used for R & D projects, including the development of a small cold room system to run on hydrocarbon refrigerant. It will also be used for practical training and assessments for groups of up to eight engineers.

Both directors Jane Gartshore and Stephen Benton will work out of the new office. We have invested in the premises to facilitate the expansion of the business, for example into more practical consultancy and to build on one of our strengths - the practical training provided. The new workshop will allow this to be expanded further, for example to include in depth carbon dioxide training for site technicians and enhanced brazer training and assessments. Larger, three phase equipment such as a supermarket pack and a chiller will be installed, allowing trainees to benefit from working on a wide range of equipment. Training will continue to be provided in small groups so each trainee benefits from maximum hands on practice.

Directions from the M5, junction 8:

Exit the M5 at junction 8 onto the M50;

Exit the M50 at the next junction (junction 1 after 1mile);

Take the first left turn off the slip road into Twyning;

Turn right into Duddage Business Park after ½ mile.
