We work with the Danish Technical Institute on the design and development of systems running on carbon dioxide as the refrigerant (R744).
The Danish Technical Institute has a huge depth of experience in the use of R744 in Scandinavia (where it is widely used) and elsewhere.
It is perceived that the application of R744 can result in greater energy consumption than with other refrigerants. The test work and evaluations we provide can minimise energy consumption and provide realistic comparisons with other refrigerants. |

We can assist in the following:
Advice on the system type most appropriate for the application (sub critical or trans critical);
Advice on the system design;
Specification and selection of components;
Testing of components and systems at our facility near Tewkesbury where we have access to a range of loads, such as high and low temperature supermarket cabinets;
Provision of installation, operation of maintenance specifications;
On site training of installation and service engineers;
Assistance on site with commissioning.
