All our training is designed to use trainees’ time as efficiently as possible, thus minimising expensive down time. We draw on the wide range of experience of the directors and trainers to prepare excellent training sessions. System operation is explained using high quality computer based presentations coupled with work on training rigs. Installation, commissioning, service and maintenance principles are covered in hands on practical sessions using a range of industry standard tools and equipment. Emphasis in all training sessions is on participation by all trainees.

• City and Guilds 2079 Refrigerant Handling scheme;
  
• British Refrigeration Association’s Brazer scheme.
  
  
  
  

• Appreciation of Refrigeration – a one day course for technophobes;
  
• Service and Maintenance – a five day course covering RAC principles and basic service and maintenance procedures (includes the City and Guilds 2079 refrigerant handling assessment);
  
• Hydrocarbon Refrigerants – design of systems and safe handling – a half day course approved by BOC. Attendance enables trainees to receive a BOC ID card – required to purchase HC refrigerants from BOC;
  
• Carbon dioxide as a refrigerant - a two day course for system designers and site engineers with both theory and practical sessions, and a hands on practical one day course for site engineers.
  
• NVQ level 2 for experienced workers. Registration onto the NVQ scheme enables experienced engineers to receive the blue Experienced Worker Skillcard. The NVQ must be completed within two years to retain the Skillcard.

All our courses are run at our premises in the West Midlands. Some can be run in house.
